Haidas Sug Bar (Sug) - 1997 AQHA Bay Mare

Sug is a real character, knows her name, loves to play in the water and likes to lick you. She was started by a professional trainer for 2 months when she was a two year old and then returned to the ranch where she was ridden working and penning cattle from the pasture and trained for cutting. She is not a finished cutter but could be with additional work. She is built like the old steel dust quarter horses with lots of bone and a stout body. She takes after her sire, Haidas Little Pep. She has no bad habits, loads nicely, easy to catch, handle, doctor, etc. Sug was raised on the Sulphur River Ranch under our colt program (see about us for information about our colt program). She is a prospect for cutting, reined cow horse, working cow horse, roping, and other cow related events.
Sug has one 2005 filly (Snip O Sug) out of our ranch stallion, Indian Shorty and has another stud colt also out of Indian Shorty born on April 7, 2006. The stud colt can sell with or without the mare. She was not bred for a 2007 colt and is open. Sug is sound to ride or breed.
